Introduction

Chingford Residents Association (CRA) is a non-political organisation that represents the interests, views and needs of residents in Chingford.

The five wards we cover in Chingford are:

  • Chingford Green

  • Endlebury

  • Hatch Lane

  • Larkswood

  • Valley

As a community, we can work together to influence real change that benefits us all.

We need your support and invite you to join us.

Our History

The CRA was formed by two local residents, one from South Chingford and one from North Chingford. From meeting in a local pub around a small table, we have now formed an executive steering committee, and have a bank account, a constitution and a safeguarding policy.

We maintain a mailing list of CRA members, and contact them, primarily by email.

However we need more residents to join the association so that we can have a stronger collective voice to influence tangible change to benefit local residents.

Our Purpose

The overarching goal of the CRA is to ensure that Chingford residents can be involved and influence the decisions taken by the London Borough of Waltham Forest (LBWF) that have a direct/ indirect impact on members and residents.

By bringing residents together and creating stronger community networks, we are and will continue to tackle local issues, ranging from anti-social behaviour (ASB), lack of local policing on our streets, overdevelopment of our area, flawed public consultation processes, air pollution and speed calming measures.
