Our Priorities
Our Executive Steering Committee meets regularly to discuss priorities and is responsible for managing the work of the association and ensuring its aims are followed and that the group works effectively and fairly. The committee works on the priorities that matter most to our members and residents. This is achieved via periodic surveys conducted at the General Meetings.
Our top three priorities are:

-
Policing
-
Regeneration
-
Transport
Of course there are more issues and concerns but the CRA is limited by the amount of resource available and cannot work on all matters at once hence the need for prioritisation

How We Have Helped
In addition, the CRA regularly receives emails from residents wanting to share new concerns or seeking our help.
Examples include:

-
working with the London Borough of Waltham Forest Transport and Parking Services to stop illegal parking
-
installation of a high-level camera in Station Road (opposite the Tesco Metro store) which will be essential viewing to stop illegal activities
-
liaison with the local Safer Neighbourhood Metropolitan Police teams across the five wards
-
meetings and walkabouts with the Leader of the Council
-
leading meetings with the local MP, councillors and the Ministry of Transport with regards to the damage caused by the unwarranted implementation of unauthorised and unwanted speedhumps
-
positive collaboration with other associations, including Drysdale and District Residents Association (DADRA), The Stowe, Love North Chingford and Community Ward Funding at Waltham Forest
