Success Story: Pavement repair in Cherrydown Avenue

Local residents had long complained about illegal parking on the pavement at 11 Cherrydown Avenue, opposite Pound Stretcher, which subsequently caused damage to the pavements.

The matter was raised with the LBWF Highways Department and was escalated to the Valley councillor. However months passed without any response or action.

The CRA stepped in on 7 October 2024 and the below picture was taken on 23 October showing that work had begun to fix the problem at last.
